Hello family and friends (hallo liebe Freund und Familie):
Welcome to the (Martin) Ucik Family Wesbite.
On July 6th 2009 our dear Oma Mina passed away peacefully at age 96.
She was born on September 19th, 1912 in Bödigheim and lived most of her life in Bofsheim im Ross before she moved to Pfedelbach and finally to the Altenheim in Öhringen. We will miss her badly.
From July 7th - 12th, Laura, Lisa, Anna and Martin went on a road trip to Oregon and Washington.

On May 29th, Laura graduated from Piner High School with all imaginable honors and will go to Brown University this fall to study medicine.

Summer vacation 2005:
We went on a California vacation from July 3rd to 10th.
We rented a spacious Toyota Van and drove to Santa Cruz, Monterey, Los Angeles and Cayucos. We mostly stayed in motels and at the end rented a condo in Cayucos for 3 nights. We first went to the Boardwalk in Santa Cruz, saw the 4th of July fireworks in Monterey, went to downtown Monterey, Cannery Row and the Dennis the Menace Park. In LA we went to Universal Studios, Venice Beach, Hollywood Blvd. and the Getty Museum. Cayucos is a small beach town 4 miles north of Morro Bay and 12 miles south of Hearst Castle. We spend the rest of our time in our lovely Condo, on the Beach and with a short trip to San Louis Obispo.
