I was born in 1957 and started to play Keyboards/sing in various cover bands when I was 15.

I love to play my Organ (Roland VK-7) and Synth Sounds (Roland JX-10 Keyboard, U-220 and MKS-20 Sound modules) and do some Piano stuff (I am not really a Pianist).
I play through a MAM Keyboard Mixer, Yamaha Stereo Power Amp and 2 x Bose 802 (want to downsize eventually).
I also sing good backup harmony vocals and can play Accordion, Bass Guitar or left hand Bass on my Keyboard, and after I practice for a while, some basic tenor Sax if that is desired.

Styles can include Rock, Pop, R&B, Soul, Blues, Country-Rock, Funk, Smooth Jazz.
We prefer a band with a clear focus on one style, but would consider a variety band as well.

My favorite Keyboard players are Booker T, Tom Coster/Greg Rollie (Santana), Keith Emmerson, Dave Grusin, Keith Jarret (can't play his stuff), Stevie Wonder ....
Favorite bands are Eagles, Tower Of Power, Toto, Chicago, Earth Wind and Fire, Spyro Gyra, Little River Band, Maze, CSNY ... to name a few.

I work in the MI and Pro Audio Industry since 1980 (Music store and Distribution) and owned a big Music store and world-wide music soft and hardware publishing company (Hohner Midia / SEK'D) in Germany.
In that capacity I worked with Benny Goodman, Dizzy Gillespie, Foreigner, Toto, Allman Brothers, Stevie Wonder, George Massenburg, Bernie Grundman, Microsoft, Apple and literally thousands of bands, studio's and musicians, which does not make me a better musician, I just know the biz to an extend.

I came to the US in 1995 and have a green card. I own a house in North West Santa Rosa am divorced and have 3 teenage daughters who live nearby with my Ex-Wife.

My objective is to have as much fun as possible playing life music with as little politics, practice and efforts around it (e.g. setting up PA's and stuff) as possible, to sing and make some money.
Ideally, an established stable band with Gig's, repertoire, maybe even roadies/stage hands.

I am very good in reading (and writing) chord charts and learn music quickly from recordings (MP3's preferred).
